b. Canada. Based in London.

I like working in groups. Current amazing collaborations:

Charismatic Megafauna -- feminist drum-hop band with Georgia Twigg and Susannah Worth. We all play the drums. (since 2013)

Music / performance with artist and multi-instrumentalist Simon Clark -- various instruments, vocals, improvisation and compositional song-stories. Some with dance moves.
F*CHOIR - I run this feminist choir for acapella voices and percussion, meets fortnightly at Res. in Deptford, London UK

Bedfellows (2014-present), a research project with artists Chloe Cooper and Phoebe Davies that takes it's departure from our informal dialogues and dinners with friend and invests attitudes towards and information around sex, sexualised imagery and open sex education for young people. We work with sexual health charities, galleries, museums, and young people's groups to develop moments of critical and creative engagement with questions around sex, gender, experience, and representation, offering spaces of reflection and investigation on current sex education.

Sign up to our mailing list if you if you like hearing about sex / consent / desire / porn / politics and feel hot-blooded about sex education. We run an open research for any artists, makers, thinkers, performers, writers, PEOPLE who are interested in sex re-education. In a time of post-truth alternative facts monitored by media frenzy, small grassroots meetings are crucial our well-being as artists! Hit me up if you want to come. It's open and fluid and a space for all genders and ages.

Bas Jan -- krautpop band with multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Serafina Steer and violin/viola/composer Sarah Anderson. I play drums and sing.
You can't win them all, ladies & gentlemen -- a live radio-research project that has amassed a ridiculously interesting, inventive and competent group of collaborators and contributors over 4 episodes.
